Why Barranquilla for expats?

It all started when I was part of an international organization at the University: AIESEC

This organization and my career (International Relations) opened my eyes and mind: The world is actually flat and nowadays, it is easier to be connected with different cultures and people all over the globe. 🌎

I worked in the area of Incoming and outgoing exchanges, and I’ve met so many expats that came to Barranquilla whether to work or study, with whom I had the opportunity to help them in getting used to our culture and hopefully not getting lost in translation 😝, I looked forward to give them the best experience so they could have the best memories in Colombia. 🇨🇴 💃🏽

I’ve decided to be a world citizen and ambassador of my culture whether in my own city or abroad and due to my own experience living abroad, I could invite my friends from all over the world to visit my city, it was amaaazing! 🥳

Since then, I’ve been doing my best to help expats to have a really nice experience in Barranquilla.

It is a great idea when visiting “Colombia’s Golden Gate” to learn about the historical background, places to visit, and cultural information, even if you are not a fluent Spanish speaker and this is why I’ve decided to make it easier for you (Just bear with me, my English is definitely not perfect😛 ).
